JANE Executive Search congratulates Sam on completing her first year as a director at Equal Measure. Sam is a community health expert and mix-methods researcher with expertise in:
- Culturally responsive and equitable evaluation
- Community health and health equity
- Mixed-methods data collection
- Racial equity
- Publication and dissemination of findings
At Equal Measure, Sam consults on a variety of projects that focus on systemic inequities in communities, including the Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solution’s Opportunity Youth Forum, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s national Scale Enterprise.
Sam is the former Director of Implementation Science and served as a Senior Research Office for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Children and Families. She earned her Master’s in Public Health and PhD in Community Health and Prevention from Drexel University, and has lectured at Drexel University and the School of Social Policy & Practice at the University of Pennsylvania.
