Jason Chu appointed to Head of Business Development & Partnerships for Ed3 DAO following national search led by JANE Executive Search.

We’re proud to announce the selection of Jason Chu as the new Head of Business Development & Partnerships at Ed3 DAO. Ed3 DAO is a nonprofit organization on a mission to upskill one million educators in emerging technologies through pedagogically grounded online learning. Jason’s placement follows a nationwide nonprofit executive search lead by JANE.

A Leader in Partnerships and Education Innovation

Jason brings more than two decades of experience in education, technology, and strategic partnerships. His background includes leadership roles at Turnitin, Equal Opportunity Schools, and Common Sense Media. In these roles, has led product partnerships, business development initiatives, and growth strategies. In addition, Jason has developed high-impact institutional partnerships, launched successful education products, and supported revenue portfolios in excess of $200 million.

Scaling Growth at Ed3 DAO

At Ed3 DAO, Jason will focus on building mission-aligned partnerships with universities, professional learning providers, and K–12 systems. His work will help drive revenue growth and expand the organization’s impact. As a result, Jason will help Ed3 DAO build toward its goal of upskilling one million educators in order to impact 3+ billion students globally.

A Proven Track Record

Most recently, Jason served as Senior Director of Partner Development at Turnitin. He led global partnership efforts with major platforms, marketplaces, and institutions. Furthermore, his approach consistently blends product insight, consultative sales, and long-term relationship-building.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jason officially assumed his role with Ed3 DAO in August 2025. He joins a fully remote and globally distributed team working at the intersection of AI and professional learning for educators.
